Research project: Electoral politics, crime and authority in Bagong Silang

As part of the VOPY programme, this project explores the
relationship between youth mobilisation, electoral politics and
crime in an urban slum area of Metro Manila. It focuses on how
authority is produced and maintained by looking at the double
process of local, non-state violent, crime prevention initiatives
and electoral politics.
