Reception of refugee children in the Nordic countries

Published 23.12.2010

For the Nordic Network for Research on Refugee Children, RCT has made a report addressing the reception of asylum seeking and refugee children in Denmark.

The Nordic Network for Research on Refugee Children has initiated a Nordic survey to identify and to compare the reception of asylum seeking and refugee children in the Nordic countries in relation to issues concerning health, care, accommodation and education. The aim is to learn more about reception conditions in each country as well as in the Nordic countries in general from a comparative perspective.

Comparable reports are now available from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. RCT has completed the Danish report based on a questionnaire developed by The Nordic Network for Research on Refugee Children.
