Key qualifications
Practical and theoretical background within the fields of international development co-operation, relief and humanitarian assistance, peace education and reconciliation, cross-cultural communication, human rights monitoring, protection of and assistance to refugees, and international agency networking.

National and international experience within a range of professional fields such as community development, project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, organizational analysis and development, capacity building, fact finding and research, and conference organization.

From 1976 to 1985 served in senior management positions, from 1989 to 1994 in project co-ordination, from 1994 in international humanitarian and development consultancy. 

Has worked as a teacher and facilitator at university level and in adult education and undertaken research, extensive fact finding and conference planning as well as practical field work.
