Key qualifications

  • Nine years of professional experience in the fields of human rights, democratisation and good governance in conflict and post-conflict situations in Latin America, the Middle East and the Balkans.

  • Profound knowledge of international law, particularly human rights law, international humanitarian law and refugee law. Extensive experience with project development, strategic planning, management and monitoring of projects and programmes in the mentioned fields and in the areas of good policing, access to justice and health (psycho-social rehabilitation of victims of human rights violations).

  • Particular experience with capacity building and institutional development within NGOs and justice administration systems. Broad experience in training and facilitation. Involvement in human rights campaigning and advocacy.

  • Working experience from national and international NGOs, inter-governmental institutions and government agencies in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
